In Feb 23 we start this next great campaign with a new set of characters and new adventures. Here are our newest budding adventurers...

Amethyst Annie, Mountain Dwarven warrior from Thorbardin

Amethyst Annie comes from the mountain kingdom of Thorbardin, South of Haven. She is curious about everything from the outside world having spent all her life underground. Trusting and naive at times, she takes people at their word believing them all to be as honest as Thorbardin dwarves. She does not understand subterfuge and guile.

Amethyst wants to explore, to understand what is happening, both good and bad in the world. She wishes to bring word of the outside world back to Thorbardin and convince the elders to open their gates to the outside believing the Mountain Dwarves have remained holed up in their mountains for too long.

Amethyst has none of the historical Mountain Dwarf mistrust of Hill Dwarves, she just sees all Dwarves as Dwarves.

Amethyst has a strong sense of duty towards her friends and will protect them in battle wherever she can.

Kaiden Nova, Apprentice Squire of Solamnia

Kaiden Nova was born to a poor farming family in Solamnia and is an Apprentice Squire who dearly wants to be a Knight like his long lost Uncle Nova. Sent South to support the city guards of Haven under Fowler Grey eyes Kaiden dreams of adventure and winning renown in combat, something he won’t find in sleepy Haven!

Kaiden is a man of honour who is quick with a blade – quicker with two!

Kaiden will always give a challenge and offer the sword salute to a foe before combat. Never strikes a foe in the back and will always help those in need.

Kaiden will protect his friends and fight the good fight. He wants to be the one who strikes down the foes so he can tell of his great deeds when he returns to Solamnia to become a knight.

Weird Al Yanowitch, Half Goblin sorceress apprentice to the Wizard Lemuel

Al Yanowitch was abandoned by a tribe of Goblins outside the city of Haven due to her difference from them, Humans let her into their city but also could not accept her due to her Goblin blood. The kindly wizard Lemuel took her in as his apprentice which probably saved her from a life of crime and starvation on the streets of Haven. Weird Al Yanowitch has long been known as Weird Al, a term Goblins used to describe a rare Goblin magic user.

Al is desperate not to be weak, poor and starving ever again. She seeks magic as this will make her rich and powerful. Al Yanowitch is protective of her friends however and never mean. But she will use whatever means necessary to get what she wants.

Weird Al Yanowitch may be a sorceress, but she can also take care of herself in combat when the need arises.

Autumn Iavasalas, Wood Elven ranger from Qualinesti

Iavasalas is the Elven word for Autumn, and she is called this due to her rich red hair. She goes by the name of Autumn in Human lands.

The Elves of Qualinesti are uneasy, there is change in the air, and an unknown fear. Autumn has been sent by the Elves of Qualinesti to go into the world and search out what is happening in the world and bring back information. Identify any threats to the order of the world and, where possible, eliminate these threats.

Autumn is kind and caring towards her friends but unforgiving to her enemies. She will use her bow to great effect dispatching foes. Autumn can use magic, but not as adept as a wizard.

If Autumn has a fault, it’s that she doesn’t realise others are not as gifted as her and assumes everyone can run, climb, shoot and fight as well as she can.

Lucky Luna, Kender gambler and rogue from Haven

Lucky Luna is a Kender from Haven who is forever in and out of the jail for `misunderstandings` usually relating to other people’s belongings that they have mislaid and Luna fortunately found. Fowler Grey eyes knows her well and can usually sort out any such mishaps.

Luna is a naturally lucky Kender girl who loves adventure and excitement. She believes in the goddess of luck known as Looney Tara and believes any good fortune is due to Looney Tara smiling down on her favourite Kender.

Luna has a lucky coin that she uses to make decisions, believing each spin of the coin is a sort of prayer to the goddess.

Luna loves bright colours and shiny things. Luna is sneaky and stealthy, and while she can fight her way out of trouble when needed is no warrior. Luna believes she is her friends lucky mascot and Looney Tara will not smile on them without Luna to bring them luck.

Luna is a great shot with a Hoopak, and always good at picking out a choice insult to enrage her enemies.
